// Cool interesting video/podcast about Beowulf an Anglo-Saxon poem written in old English, I love the story of Beowulf as it is, full of adventure and monsters.

I also loved how Ray Winstone played him in the 2007 animated movie of Beowulf. He made a good Beowulf, bringing the character to life, just as you would imagine him to be.

JRR Tolkien, a professor of Anglo-Saxon languages, translated Beowulf, Beowulf may have also influenced him while writing the Lord of the Rings as Rohan is roughly based on Beowulf.
